Nice Variety of Review Updates

freelance-coverI’ve sharpened my digital pen on a few different types of topics this time around. First up is a game that ended up receiving the lowest score I’ve ever given a game – 25/100. For clarification, at The Koalition, 50 is our base average, so it may not be quite as low as it really seems to most people, but yeah, definitely a game I did not really enjoy at all.

After that are my first two book reviews. First, I reviewed an AD&D module set collection, which was an interesting experience and the set is very, very well done. After that, I reviewed a book that I have personally been looking forward to for quite some time – Nathan Meunier’s Up Up Down Down Left Write: The Freelance Guide to Video Game Journalism. Incredible book that I cannot recommend any more highly!

That’s what I’ve been up to on the review side, more updates to round out the week soon! 🙂
