Four Game Review Updates!

tales backgroundAs is usual on this blog, I have gone a while again without much updating. Working full-time, writing on the side AND blogging isn’t exactly easy to do! Anyways, lots of cool things to talk about though, so I’ll just go ahead and post the goods down below. I’ve mostly been swamped with reviews – although a few did not pan out successfully in terms of getting a review copy. However, a couple games I was originally denied I ended up actually receiving late! As a result, lots and lots of reviews as usual!

Madden NFL 25 Review (PS3) – http://thekoalition.com/2013/08/madden-nfl-25-review-conservative-playcalling/

Saints Row IV Review (PC) – http://thekoalition.com/2013/08/saints-row-iv-review-parody-perfected/

“Saints Row IV is absolutely one of the most entertaining games I have ever played. Whether it be punching my fist through a Zin soldier, sneaking around corridors in a clear Metal Gear-parody or performing Loyalty missions for my fully-romanceable crew members, Saints Row IV is nonstop fun and laughs from start to finish. If you’re capable of looking past some shortcomings and just playing a game to have fun, then look no further than Saints Row IV.”

Game Dev Tycoon Review (PC) – http://thekoalition.com/2013/09/game-dev-tycoon-review-shallow-yet-satisfying/

xillia screen 1Tales of Xillia Review (PS3) – http://thekoalition.com/2013/09/game-dev-tycoon-review-shallow-yet-satisfying/

“Tales of Xillia is a traditional Tales game and follows the formula for most other JRPGs that have come before it. What it lacks in real “innovation” it makes up for a thousand times over in polish, quality and depth. If you’re a fan of the genre and/or the series, play this game as soon as possible.”

Have you played any of these titles? Let me know thoughts down in the comments below or over on the article pages themselves!
